Prospect Place Trinway, Ohio

Prospect Place was a station on the "Underground Railroad" and was used to safely move escaped slaves to freedom. African American refugees who had escaped slavery in the South would be kept in the basement of the mansion.  They would be given food, lamps, blankets and whatever they lacked for their trip further north along the Underground Railroad.

When we investigated Prospect Place we got pictures of faces on the walls, orbs most of which are probbly dust or moisture. A couple members of the team experienced spells of nauseousness and dizziness.

The barn, is reported to be haunted as well, the story is that a slave hunter was captured and hung in it.

Inside the house, the most active rooms are reported to be the parlor, the ballroom, a bedroom and rooms in the basement,  where reportedly a little girl who had fallen to her death was kept in ice until the ground thawed so she could be buried. In the 1960's when the house was empty, it was reported that there were satanic rituals held in the ball room. Locals painted the cross over where the demon protal was reported to be.

We did get alot of activity on flashlights, as well as K2 hits and mell meter hits. It was a good time and I would like to go back.
