Harvey Wells House, Founder of Welston, Ohio

A little history, Harvey Wells was the founder of Wellston Ohio. He was born in 1846 and served our nation during the Cival War. In 1874 he founded the city of Wellston. He lived in this house from 1883 until his death in 1896. He was married twice and has 3 children. Harvey, and both wives are buried at nearby Ridgeway Cemetery in Wellston just a few blocks from his home. The house is currenty being restored and is on the National Registory of historic places.

We continue to check the progress of the restoration, and visit the property regularly. These pictures were captured during the daylight hours, the first is a picture of the house, it was a cloudy overcast day, second is a picture of what looks like a face in the window. I took the picture from several different angles and this is the only one with a face. The next day, we stopped in downtown Wellston where there is a bust of Harvey, 3rd picture. The fourth picture was captured the that day. I took a random shot of a tree at the back of the house, we had gotten a spike of 2.7 on our mel meter, no noticable change in temp, it was a mere 63 degrees. There is a mist and when zooming we discovered a face in the mist. It was partly sunny.
